1.2 CNAME (overview)

A CNAME is a Canonical Name DNS record that maps an alias to your true sending domain. Ads Marketplace uses this alias as the AdTag domain so every tag call is authenticated against your brand and rendered with a valid SSL certificate. AdTags will not be provisioned until CNAME setup is complete and SSL is validated. Each newsletter has its own CNAME — you'll set them per newsletter in Step 3 (Inventory Taxonomy).Learn about CNAMEs →
